Some vaccinations have multiple doses so it’s important that you plan to have your vaccination in advance of your departure date, usually 6-8 weeks prior.

All those visiting Saudi Arabia for Hajj & Umrah or seasonal work are required to submit a certificate of vaccination with the Meningococcal quadrivalent ACWY vaccine. The certificate of vaccination must be issued no more than 3 years and no less than 10 days before arrival in Saudi Arabia.

If you require antimalarial drugs, the pharmacist will check the risk of malaria and also the type of activities you will be carrying out to decide which antimalarial you will need. The pharmacist will also provide advice on how to minimise your risk of mosquito bites and other appropriate precautions for your travel.
